ACUPUNCTURE TO BE COVERED BY MSP

For the first time in Canada, acupuncture treatments will be included as a supplementary benefit for recipients of MSP premium assistance benefits.  Premium assistance patients will receive $23 per visit for a maximum of 10 visits.  This benefit is shared with five other professional health services, but it is a beginning, and recognition of the value of complementary health care services.

REGISTERED SHIATSU THERAPY COVERED BY GREEN SHIELD

Your shiatsu treatments may now be partially covered by Green Shield's extended medical coverage. Call your plan administrator or Sourcepoint for more details.

15th ANNUAL SHIATSU CONFERENCE IN VANCOUVER: AUGUST 9 & 10

 The conference is being organized by the Japan Shiatsu College, the Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy, the Japan Shiatsu Association, the Canadian Shiatsu Society of BC and the Japan Shiatsu College Alumni Association. Free shiatsu treatments will be offered at the Vancouver Public Library on Saturday the 9th from 2 to 5 pm.  On Sunday, there is day of seminars at UBC.  You have to register. SHIATSU THERAPY PROGRAM INFORMATION EVENING
