SHIATSU THERAPY PROGRAM UPDATE

Please note that the Shiatsu Therapy Program will be offered once per year, rather than twice as has been previously advertised.  The intake will be in mid September, with classes finishing at the end of March.  Students will have until the end of April to complete all outstanding clinical and course requirements if the time is needed.  The next program starts on September 13th, 2010. 

 PROFESSIONAL TREATMENT PACKAGES NOW AVAILABLE

For those who want to make shiatsu a regular part of their health care program, we now offer package prices.  Buy a Frequent Client Card and save $5 per treatment.  The prices for a package of 5 treatments are as follows:

•  60 minute sessions:     $325.00
• 75 minute sessions:      $400.00
• 90 minute sessions:      $540.00

SWISS VOTE IN FAVOUR OF COMPLEMENTARY MEDICINE

On May 17, 2009, the people of Switzerland voted in favour of a constitutional amendment that supports the use of complementary medicine (CAM). A total of 67% of the population voted in favour. Thus Switzerland becomes the first country in Europe to set out in its constitution authority for the national government and its constituent states to take CAM into consideration in its health services. It is an astonishing victory and may set the model for other countries as well.
